About us: Foreigners Everywhere

is a musical project born on the Pula punk scene and the Zagreb squatter scene, where the spirit of resistance, togetherness and autonomy shaped our sounds and thoughts. Our music is a combination of dub and punk, imbued with anarchist ideas and created out of the need to react to the social circumstances in which we live. We don't make music for musical or poetic reasons. Our music is political. We create in response to the injustices, divisions, and systems of power that control our lives.

The idea of Foreigners Everywhere was born in 2011 in the bay of Pinižule, on Cape Kamenjak, after we traveled to New York and Oman. Then we realized that we are mostly strangers in our own home. Our name is taken from the works of feminist conceptual artist Claire Fontaine, whose neon signs "Foreigners Everywhere" are displayed in various languages, inspired by the "Stranieri Ovunque" collective from Turin, which fought against racism and xenophobia in Italy in the early 2000s.

Our music is not just a sound background, it is a tool of resistance. Every tone, every word we utter is aimed at exposing injustice, raising awareness of power and privilege, and solidarity with the oppressed. Through collaborations with artists like Jah Free, our first single of 2018 "Foreigners Everywhere" became the first step in spreading the message that identity, language, borders and freedoms must be questioned and demolished.

In 2020, we launched the publishing house Do It With Others Records with the support of Woodland Records. We believe in the collective power of creation and reject the commercial framework of the music industry. Our mission is to create a space where music is a vehicle for change, not a commodity to be sold.

We live in a time of multiple crises that define the movement and existence of people across borders and territories, where identity, nationality, race, gender, sexuality and wealth have become sources of division. Foreigners Everywhere is not just a phrase – it is our response to those divisions. No matter where we are, we make music for those who refuse to accept these artificial boundaries. We are everywhere, like all those who feel like strangers in their own environment.

Our work calls for solidarity, resistance and questioning - because countries may exist, but the question is who owns these countries and who makes the laws. Our music is not there to offer answers, but to ask the right questions and challenge all those who accept the status quo.

In a world that divides us, Foreigners Everywhere calls for unity and freedom. We create for those who care, for those who struggle and for those who dream of a world without borders.

We are a collective. We are the resistance. We are foreigners everywhere - and that connects us.

About us: Do It With Others Records

is an anarchist record label that is more than a space for releasing music, it is a collective platform for political action, solidarity and resistance. Our mission is not to make a profit, but to support communities that fight against injustice. All money made from digital sales goes to grass roots human, animal and environmental rights organisations. Through music, we create a network of solidarity that connects artists and activists in the fight for freedom and justice.

Our label was created with the great support of our friends and comrades from Woodland Records, with whom we share the vision of a decentralized, non-commercial music scene. Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the DIY ethic, inherited from the anarcho-punk tradition, which rejects the capitalist logic of profit and commodification of art. At the heart of our label is the belief that music and art should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it.

We draw inspiration from projects like Crass Records and spaces like Dial House, an anarcho-pacifist collective and community that has existed since 1967 and has provided a haven for artistic, cultural and political initiatives. Dial House, home of the legendary anarcho-punk band Crass, showed us how it is possible to use art as a weapon of resistance, both against war, religion and consumerism. Our friendships with Penny Rimbaud and Gee Vaucher strengthened our commitment to create freely, without compromising with dominant systems of power.

Do It With Others Records believes in collaboration and collective spirit. Through music and collaboration, we try to create a world where freedom, justice and solidarity are real and tangible. Do It With Others Records releases are not commercial goods, but means to support grass roots human, animal and environmental rights organisations.

Do It With Others Records is about building a shared world where collective action is the key to change. Do It With Others Records, at its core, carries a message of resistance, freedom and solidarity.

Do It With Others. Do it for a change. Do it for justice.
